Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marduk Thorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Assange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thorn comes to the cage accompanied by Rob Dougan - Clubbed to Death. Assange has chosen Eddie Van Halen - Eruption as his entrance music. James Assange will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorn avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Assange keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Assange displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Assange darts in and clinches Thorn up against the cage.
Thorn blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Assange tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Assange misses with a hook to the ribs.

Assange lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A decent looking cross lands there for Assange.
Assange is looking to clinch but Thorn is avoiding it.

and Thorn counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Assange thinking.

Thorn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Assange was well out of range. Poor timing from Thorn.

Thorn attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Assange wants to clinch.
Thorn takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Thorn throws a series of punches but Assange avoids them all with ease.

and Assange counters with a series of strikes. Thorn will be more careful next time no doubt.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Assange digs a right hand underneath Thorn's ribcage. Thorn let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Assange scores with a hook to the body. Thorn takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Assange lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Assange feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Thorn crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

After the fight, James Assange was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
