The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcghee throws a leg kick
and Mcghee takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hall ducks under a wild hook from Mcghee.
Jonathan Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
An inside leg kick from Hall misses.
Mcghee takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Hall throws a series of punches but Mcghee avoids them all with ease.
A slapping leg kick lands for Mcghee.
Mcghee digs a good hook to Hall's body.

and Mcghee counters with a head kick that drops Hall to the mat! Hall scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hall on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mcghee does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

A slow jab from Hall misses its intended target.
Hall scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Hall throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Mcghee is looking to clinch.
Mcghee throws a leg kick which misses Hall's front leg but catches the back leg as Hall tries to avoid it.
Hall throws a hook but Mcghee blocks it.
Hall closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hall lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hall won't allow Mcghee to get back to his feet.

Hall postures up in Mcghee's guard and throws a big left but Mcghee blocks it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hall not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Mcghee can't keep his opponent in guard - Hall advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Hall seems to be looking for submissions.
Mcghee keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Hall thows a huge punch but Mcghee dodges it nicely.
Hall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hall not doing much here.
Hall wants to control but Mcghee is keeping him busy.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jonathan Hall.
Hall connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
A telegraphed right hand from Mcghee misses the target.
Hall with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Fancy Mcghee will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Hall takes one to the side of the head.
Hall goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
It looks like Fancy Mcghee has been cut.
Mcghee paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hall tries a head kick but it misses.
Some wild striking there from Mcghee.
Mcghee wants to clinch up but Hall keeps it at a distance.
Mcghee throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mcghee takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A big right from Mcghee misses.
Mcghee connects with a right hand. Hall shakes it off.
Mcghee moves out of range of the strikes.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hall darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Good standup being displayed there by Hall as he connects with a hook.
Hall lands a big head kick that sends Mcghee tumbling to the mat! Hall takes a step backwards and waves Mcghee back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Mcghee is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hall closes the distance looking for a takedown. Mcghee stuffs it but Hall still has hold of him. Hall picks Mcghee up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Hall slams Mcghee to the floor and that's really hurt Mcghee - he doesn't know where he is! Hall throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
