Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Rogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Sonnen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Joe Rogan!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen misses with a body shot.
Rogan throws a nice outside leg kick.
Sonnen dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sonnen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rogan.
Sonnen misses with a looping right.
Rogan throws a half hearted mid kick.
Sonnen scores with a jab to the body.
Rogan scores with a punch to the head.
Rogan connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sonnen. Sonnen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Rogan throws a body kick that misses.
A big left from Rogan misses.
Sonnen throws a body punch but Rogan moves out of range.
Rogan wants to clinch.
Rogan swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Sonnen fails in his attempt to clinch.

The fighters circling - Rogan throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rogan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sonnen swivels and escapes.
Sonnen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rogan moves away.
Sonnen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Rogan has his foot on Sonnen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sonnen works his way back into a safe position though.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sonnen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Rogan is looking for a triangle but Sonnen pushes his legs off easily.
Rogan is trying to control the position but Sonnen postures up.
Rogan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sonnen manages to get himself to full guard.
Rogan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sonnen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Sonnen is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Sonnen misses with a hook from the clinch.

Sonnen misses with a hook to the ribs.
Rogan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sonnen is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Rogan misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Rogan goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Sonnen is looking to wear down Rogan with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Rogan tries to move into range but Sonnen moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Rogan shoots in for a double leg but Sonnen sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Rogan keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Sonnen slips a nice elbow through Rogan's hands, connecting with Rogan's forehead.
Rogan is looking for a sweep. Sonnen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Rogan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sonnen.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

It looks like Joe Rogan has been cut.
Rogan is pressing down on Sonnen's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Sonnen content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

Rogan tries for a takedown but Sonnen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rogan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Rogan blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Sonnen swings wildly with an uppercut but Rogan uses good head movement to avoid it.
A short body shot lands from Sonnen as the two fighters clinch.
Sonnen looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Rogan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rogan misses with a looping right.
Sonnen swings away with a body shot that misses
and Rogan counters with a thumping low kick.
Sonnen moves out of range of the body kick.
Rogan tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Sonnen counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Sonnen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rogan manages to avoid it.
Sonnen shoots in and drives through. Rogan sprawls well.

Sonnen misses with a wild body shot.
Rogan digs a good body shot into Sonnen's ribs.
Rogan lands a nice hook to Sonnen's body. Sonnen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sonnen. Rogan does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rogan scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Sonnen cracks a nice hook into Rogan's ribs.
Rogan slips a jab and a cross from Sonnen.
Sonnen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rogan manages to avoid it.

Sonnen leaves Rogan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Rogan doesn't manage to clinch there - Sonnen circles away.
Rogan misses with a low kick as Sonnen jumps back.
Rogan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rogan tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Sonnen presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Rogan wants to hold on but Sonnen pushes him away.
Sonnen cracks Rogan with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Sonnen lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Sonnen breaks from Rogan's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The cut above Joe Rogan's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Joe Rogan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ryan Sonnen!
