Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Kovacks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Neely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Takeshi Kovacks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Neely! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Neely lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Kovacks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kovacks slaps away a takedown attempt from Neely, before circling back to the center of the mat. Kovacks throws a sloppy head kick and Neely moves out of range easily. Neely checks the leg kick nicely there.
Neely swings away with a leg kick that misses. Kovacks misses with a body shot.
Neely lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Nice defenses there by Kovacks. Kovacks fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Neely has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Kovacks will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kovacks ducks under a wild hook from Neely. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Neely takes a swing at Kovacks's ribcage but misses. Neely changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kovacks tries to avoid it but Neely manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kovacks to the ground. Kovacks escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kovacks swings for the body but Neely moves out of range.

Neely fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Neely works Kovacks's body with a nice hook. Kovacks is looking to chop away at Neely's legs. Neely uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kovacks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kovacks misses the shot to the body. Neely takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Jack Neely has been cut. Neely tries to clinch there but Kovacks circles away.
Neely thows a left - swing and a miss! Kovacks wants to clinch up but Neely keeps it at a distance. A nice inside leg kick there by Kovacks. That's going to slow Neely down. Kovacks misses with a low kick.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Neely enables Kovacks to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Neely manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kovacks pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Neely is keeping the position for now. Kovacks wants to control from the top but Neely keeps moving. Kovacks lands a couple of elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kovacks trying to control but Neely is working from the bottom. Neely tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A solid leg kick lands there for Kovacks.
Kovacks tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Neely was well out of range. Poor timing from Kovacks. Neely throws a low kick, looking for Kovacks's leg but Kovacks calmly moves out of range. Kovacks throws a leg kick but Neely sees it coming and checks it nicely. Kovacks is looking to wear down Neely with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Neely fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Neely lands an overhand right. Neely wants to land a leg kick but Kovacks is out of range. Kovacks fails with the takedown. Kovacks tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Neely is able to avoid easily.

Neely tries to clinch but Kovacks is having none of it. Kovacks scores with a sloppy right hand. Neely should have avoided that one. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Neely.

Neely throws a chopping leg kick but Kovacks manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Kovacks throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Kovacks throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kovacks prevents Neely from improving his position. Neely works his way to full guard. Good work. That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Kovacks trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kovacks avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kovacks stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Neely swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kovacks wants to control from the top but Neely keeps moving. Neely is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kovacks defends well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Neely trying to keep a closed guard but Kovacks is proving a slippery customer.

Neely fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Neely tries to clinch but Kovacks is having none of it. Neely tries for a takedown but Kovacks circles away easily and Kovacks counters with a nice low kick that buckles Neely's knee momentarily. Kovacks swats away the attempt to clinch by Neely. Kovacks closes the distance and clinches up with Neely, looking for a takedown. Kovacks pushes Neely against the cage but Neely circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kovacks fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Neely is out of range. A swing and a miss from Kovacks. Kovacks attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Neely moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Kovacks swings for the body but Neely moves out of range.

Neely throws a hook but Kovacks blocks it. Kovacks jabs Neely to the body, keeping him at a distance. Neely takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kovacks scores with a jab. A low kick from Kovacks is predictable there and Neely makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Neely's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Neely instigates a clinch. Neely misses with the head strike.
