Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ba Lil I!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joey Voit!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lil I keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lil I throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Voit's head.
Lil I looks for the body kick but Voit saw that one coming.
Voit stuffs the takedown attempt from Lil I. Lil I gets slowly back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Lil I or perhaps it was just good defense by Voit which made him look bad.
Lil I throws a right hand that Voit ducks under and follows up with a left that Voit also avoids with ease.
Lil I fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

and Voit counters with a straight right hand.

Lil I lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Lil I shoots in looking for a takedown but Voit manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Lil I's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Ba Lil I showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Lil I has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Ba Lil I was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
