Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Ek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niko Langfors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Langfors is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Amaranthe - Hunger. Marcus Ek is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Niko Langfors!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Langfors wants to clinch
and Ek counters with a single leg into guard. Langfors didn't expect that.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Langfors is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ek pushes down on Langfors's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ek wants to pass to mount but Langfors is defending the position.
Ek is thwarting Langfors's attempts to control the position.
Ek takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Ek stands up from half guard.
Langfors cracks Ek with an open hand slap.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A left lands for Langfors.
Langfors tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ek paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Langfors scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Ek is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Ek moves into full guard.
Ek pulls Langfors in close to his closed guard and prevents Langfors from doing any damage or advancing position.
Ek looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ek working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Langfors doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Ek is tightening it up a little... Langfors has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Langfors reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Langfors taps out! Nice BJJ there by Ek!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Marcus Ek!
In his post fight interview, Marcus Ek started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
