Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Mckenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Petey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Mckenzie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Petey! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Phil Schofield and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mckenzie drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Petey wants to sweep but no luck. Mckenzie controlling from the top position. Mckenzie decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Petey, up you get! Petey closes the distance looking to clinch and Mckenzie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Petey can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mckenzie controls the pace. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Petey thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Mckenzie wants to pass the guard but Petey is keeping the position. Mckenzie cracks Petey with a solid left hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petey not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Petey wants to stand up but Mckenzie is controlling him. Mckenzie gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Steve Petey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mckenzie shoots for a double leg takedown but Petey sprawls well. He's pushed Mckenzie's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Petey wants to clinch. Mckenzie shoots in but no luck this time. Petey looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Petey is looking to clinch but Mckenzie is avoiding it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mckenzie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Mckenzie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Petey looks to land a combination. Mckenzie sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Petey pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Mckenzie winds up and cracks Petey with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Mckenzie postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Petey to stand up. Mckenzie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mckenzie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Petey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mckenzie somewhat. Danga de danga de dang - Petey scores with a four punch combination!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mckenzie gets a double leg takedown into Petey's guard. Petey is looking to sweep but instead, Mckenzie has passed into half guard.
Nice strikes from Mckenzie there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Petey wants to get back to his feet.
Mckenzie stalling. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Mckenzie moves into full mount! Petey won't be happy about that! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Mckenzie dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Petey gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mckenzie to score an easy takedown into full guard. Mckenzie distracts Petey with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Mckenzie won't allow Petey to get back to his feet. Mckenzie scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Mckenzie stands up from Petey's guard - Mckenzie perhaps looking for a knockout. Petey gets tackled into the cage by Mckenzie. Mckenzie maintains the clinch. Mckenzie drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Petey gets the underhooks and prevents it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mckenzie wants to take the fight to the mat but Petey manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Petey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Mckenzie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Petey trying to keep a closed guard but Mckenzie is proving a slippery customer.

Mckenzie is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Mckenzie wants to control from the top but Petey keeps moving. Petey is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Petey looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mckenzie tries to free his leg and advance position but Petey is retaining full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up because David Mckenzie just wasn't active enough. Mckenzie with a poor takedown and Petey counters with a nice low kick that buckles Mckenzie's knee momentarily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Mckenzie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Petey tries to bum rush Mckenzie with a series of wild strikes but Mckenzie uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mckenzie misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Petey throws a head kick that misses. Mckenzie drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Petey tries to bum rush Mckenzie with a series of wild strikes but Mckenzie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petey gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Mckenzie passes Petey's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Mckenzie decides to stand up. Mckenzie shoots in and bounces Petey off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Petey keeping moving, preventing Mckenzie from controlling successfully. Mckenzie keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Petey's head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Petey is looking to stand up but Mckenzie isn't so interested in that idea. Mckenzie stands up over Petey, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Petey is working an open guard so Mckenzie takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Mckenzie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Mckenzie throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Petey was covering up waiting for the punch and Mckenzie finishes the takedown easily into guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mckenzie is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Mckenzie dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Petey throws a front kick that sends Mckenzie stumbling back into the cage. Petey stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Petey wants it to stay on the feet. Mckenzie misses with a takedown attempt - Petey sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Mckenzie. That's going to take a lot out of him. Petey lands a big head kick that sends Mckenzie tumbling to the mat! Petey takes a step backwards and waves Mckenzie back to his feet - he wants the finish! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Petey tries to clinch but Mckenzie is having none of it. Petey doesn't manage to clinch there - Mckenzie circles away.

Mckenzie rushes Petey and presses him up against the cage. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Petey. Petey gets underhooks to prevent Mckenzie's takedown attempt.
Petey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. The fight stays on the outside here - Petey looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mckenzie has a takedown stuffed. Petey moves in looking to clinch but Mckenzie pushes him off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mckenzie fails with a takedown attempt. Petey tries to clinch but Mckenzie is having none of it. Petey is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Petey falls off balance throwing a combination
and Mckenzie counters with a single leg into guard. Petey didn't expect that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Petey is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. David Mckenzie overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Petey will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petey working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mckenzie. Petey is trying to hold Mckenzie in close to prevent damage but Mckenzie has managed to pass into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mckenzie lands a nice short elbow. Petey regains full guard. Nicely done. Mckenzie is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Mckenzie stands up and waves to Petey to follow him. Petey gets caught napping as Mckenzie dives in and scores a takedown. Petey manages to retain guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mckenzie showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Petey looking to control.
Mckenzie could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Petey wants to hit a switch here but Mckenzie passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Petey there! Mckenzie controlling the pace for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Steve Petey comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Mckenzie has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
