Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sentrell Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Ostermeyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Will Ostermeyer enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sentrell Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Will Ostermeyer!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ostermeyer misses with a takedown attempt - Lee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The strikes coming from Lee are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Lee tries to score with some ground and pound. Ostermeyer controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Lee has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

You can see the frustration on Ostermeyer's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ostermeyer can do anything to dispel that myth.

Lee is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ostermeyer sees it coming and defends easily.

Lee is looking to take a break and control but Ostermeyer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Lee decides to stand up, so the ref orders Ostermeyer to his feet.

Lee avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ostermeyer swivels and escapes.

Lee postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Ostermeyer to stand up.
Ostermeyer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Ostermeyer is breathing heavily.
Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Lee has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ostermeyer off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ostermeyer tries to avoid it but Lee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ostermeyer to the ground. Ostermeyer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ostermeyer pinned against the cage. Ostermeyer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sentrell Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Lee shoots in but no luck this time.
Ostermeyer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ostermeyer off to one side.
Sentrell Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Ostermeyer closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lee quickly recovers to half guard.
Lee is trying to control but can't.

Ostermeyer is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ostermeyer blocks the strikes from Lee.

Lee is looking for a sweep. Ostermeyer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lee wants to control but Ostermeyer is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Lee is controlling Ostermeyer's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Lee slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Ostermeyer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Lee is looking for a triangle but Ostermeyer pushes his legs off easily.

Lee looking for a sweep. Not yet Lee, not yet.
Lee is trying to keep Ostermeyer in close.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lee remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ostermeyer tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Ostermeyer is squirming around, avoiding Lee's attempts to control the action.
Will Ostermeyer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Sentrell Lee tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
