The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brett gets caught flat footed, as Bondevik shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bondevik is looking to stand up but Brett won't let him.
Bondevik really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brett. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Brett escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bondevik gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Brett has hold of Bondevik's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bondevik manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bondevik's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Brett is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bondevik can do to turn this around?

Brett misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Benny Brett decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
