Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hugo Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Johnson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Reyes shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Johnson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Johnson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Johnson thows a huge punch but Reyes dodges it nicely.

Johnson is nestled in close to Reyes, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
That has opened up Hugo Reyes's cut even more.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reyes wants to improve his position but Johnson is controlling well.

Johnson cracks Reyes with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Hugo Reyes's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
