Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Henry Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Geoly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charles's entrance music is Don't Fake the Funk by Prince Charles. A fine choice. Alexander Geoly has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Charles misses its intended target.
Geoly has closed the distance and engaged Charles in a clinch.
Geoly is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Charles lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Geoly or not.
Geoly wants to stall.
Charles blocks the elbow strike.
Charles blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Charles tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Alexander Geoly hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Charles manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Geoly on his heels. He'll look to pass Geoly's guard now, I'm sure.
Charles controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Charles wants to control from the top but Geoly keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Charles throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Geoly works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Henry Charles just wasn't active enough.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Geoly wants to pass the guard but Charles is keeping the position.

Geoly is just content to waste time from the top position. Charles takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Henry Charles will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A looping hook to the body misses from Charles. Geoly does a little dance to reset his feet.
Geoly throws the left hand but Charles avoids the punch easily.
Geoly wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Geoly fakes the leg kick and cracks Charles in the body.
Charles fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Geoly manages to avoid it.
Charles misses with a straight right.
Geoly fails with the takedown.
Charles wants to clinch.
Charles doesn't manage to clinch there - Geoly circles away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Geoly lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Charles has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Charles and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Charles throws a hook but Geoly avoids it easily.
Geoly closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Geoly lands in his opponent's guard.
Charles bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Geoly's guard.

Alexander Geoly comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.

After the fight, Alexander Geoly was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
