The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorrance uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gambit.

Dorrance looks to land a combination. Gambit sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Gambit goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Gambit tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dorrance swivels and escapes.
Edmund Dorrance has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Gambit.

Gambit throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Dorrance tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gambit is in Dorrance's guard.

Dorrance throws a jab but it's blocked by Gambit.

Gambit attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Dorrance displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gambit.

Gambit rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dorrance moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Donk. Gambit catches Dorrance right on the button with a cross.
Gambit walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dorrance pushes Gambit up against the cage in a clinch.
Dorrance throws a knee to the head but misses.
Dorrance misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Gambit.
Gambit lands a hook to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dorrance circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Gambit drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Dorrance follows Gambit to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
