Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frank Dunham!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vegh throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Dunham thows a body shot but no joy.
A nice combination there by Dunham.

Vegh changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dunham looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Vegh wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dunham, who protects the arm well.

Vegh working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dunham wants to control but Vegh postures up.
Dunham tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Vegh presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Vegh scoring with strikes but Dunham is staying in there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dunham tries to hold on but Vegh postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dunham working to try and regain half guard.
Vegh looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dunham can do anything to dispel that myth.
Vegh is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dunham can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Dunham is still in real trouble! Can Vegh finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Vegh takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Vegh connects with a bit shot that sees Dunham covering up! More strikes from Vegh and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Vegh is our winner by TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Arnold Vegh!
A relieved looking Arnold Vegh thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
