Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mij Neztil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Wood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mij Neztil has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mij Neztil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Travis Wood! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Neztil misses with a series of wild punches.
Neztil throws a head kick that misses. Neztil throws a big shot that misses. Neztil thows a left - swing and a miss! Neztil tries to bum rush Wood with a series of wild strikes but Wood uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Neztil misses with a few strikes there.
No joy there for Neztil, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Neztil looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Neztil misses with a low kick.
Wood feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wood is looking to work some ground and pound but Neztil has wrist control. Wood trying to control the position from guard on top but Neztil is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Neztil keeping full guard, as Wood tries to pass. Wood throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Wood has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Neztil not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wood is looking to work some ground and pound but Neztil has wrist control. Neztil keeping moving, preventing Wood from controlling successfully. Wood drops back looking for a leg! Neztil is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Neztil manages to kick Wood off! Wood jumps back into Neztil's guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Some wild striking there from Neztil.
Wood keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Neztil misses with a head kick.
Wood shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Wood passes easily into side control. Nice work. Neztil is not content to let Wood control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wood looking to control but instead Neztil has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Neztil trying to control but Wood postures up.
Neztil won't allow Wood to pass to mount. Neztil is controlling Wood's trapped leg to prevent Wood from advancing to side control. Neztil trying to hold on to Wood's head to control him but Wood postures up.
Wood is working for a kimura but Neztil is defending it quite comfortably.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neztil keeping hold of Wood's head, controlling as best he can. Wood tries to pass the half guard into mount. Neztil knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Wood thows a huge punch but Neztil dodges it nicely.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Neztil thows a left - swing and a miss!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Wood fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Neztil manages to avoid it. Neztil gets caught flat footed, as Wood shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Neztil pushes Wood off and gets back to his feet.
Neztil throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Neztil throws a nice looking combination but Wood bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Neztil misses with a series of wild punches.
Neztil looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Neztil.
Neztil connects with a nice looking jab.
Neztil throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Wood. Wood checks a low kick from Neztil. Neztil keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Wood. Neztil just misses with a punch to the body.
Neztil misses with a double jab.
Neztil is breathing heavily. Neztil throws a nice inside leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Travis Wood dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Neztil dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wood. That did some damage! Mij Neztil is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Good work by Wood as he checks the leg kick. Neztil uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wood. Neztil tries a low kick but Wood avoids it. Neztil throws a right hand that Wood ducks under and follows up with a left that Wood also avoids with ease. A punch lands to the side of Neztil 's head but he takes it in his stride. Neztil tries to land a front kick but Wood steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Neztil drops Wood with a nice combination! Neztil dives into Wood's guard, looking to finish!
Wood is rocked!
It looks like Travis Wood has been cut. Wood looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Neztil passes into half guard.
Wood is still in real trouble! Can Neztil finish him? Neztil prevents Wood from improving his position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wood moves into full guard.
Wood seems to have recovered his senses. Wood looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Neztil is defending well. Wood quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Neztil has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Wood celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
