Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Machida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Guerrero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Magnus Machida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pedro Guerrero!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida has a takedown stuffed.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Guerrero, as that shot connected.
A swing and a miss from Machida.
Machida shoots for a takedown but Guerrero saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Machida throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Guerrero's waist but Guerrero gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Machida off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Magnus Machida. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Machida shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Guerrero as he avoids it easily.
Machida tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Guerrero swivels and escapes.
Machida shoots in for a takedown but Guerrero shows good takedown defense.
Machida shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Machida showed some decent athleticism there.
Guerrero is trying to stand back up but Machida is controlling him
Machida seems to be working for a kimura but Guerrero defends the submission attempt.
Machida is breathing heavily.
Guerrero manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Guerrero slips a straight right by Machida.

Machida shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Machida was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Guerrero is in all sorts of trouble here.
Machida wants to take Guerrero's back here but Guerrero is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Machida looking to control but Guerrero is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Guerrero tries to hold on but Machida pushes him away.
Machida throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Machida with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Machida is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Guerrero has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Guerrero!
Guerrero really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Machida. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Guerrero gets to his feet - Machida follows without any prompting.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Guerrero scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Machida doesn't seem bothered though.
Machida throws a head kick but Guerrero moves out of range.
Guerrero misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pedro Guerrero is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Machida has a takedown stuffed.
Guerrero fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Guerrero scores with a hook to the body. Machida takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Machida changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Guerrero tries to avoid it but Machida manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Guerrero to the ground. Guerrero escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Machida misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Guerrero rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Machida moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Machida changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Guerrero tries to avoid it but Machida manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Guerrero to the ground. Guerrero escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Machida will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Machida closes the distance and clinches up with Guerrero, looking for a takedown. Machida pushes Guerrero against the cage but Guerrero circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Guerrero slips a jab from Machida.
Machida looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Guerrero is fending him off so far but Machida persists. Nope, Guerrero circles away and we're back to standing.
Guerrero throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Machida shoots in but Guerrero avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Guerrero digs a good hook to Machida's body.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Horrible takedown by Machida or perhaps it was just good defense by Guerrero which made him look bad.
Guerrero uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Guerrero lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Guerrero fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Machida on the side of the head.
Machida looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Guerrero is fending him off so far but Machida persists. Nope, Guerrero circles away and we're back to standing.
Guerrero misses with a few strikes there.
Machida shoots in for a takedown but Guerrero shows good takedown defense.
Guerrero swinging wilding here.
Guerrero lands the left hand.
Machida misses with a takedown attempt - Guerrero sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
A combination from Guerrero does no damage.
Machida will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Guerrero throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Machida colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Guerrero as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Machida is left battered and dazed whilst Guerrero and his camp cheer!
