Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keiji Hashimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angus Troyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hashimoto kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Holding Out For A Hero (Japanese Version). Troyer has chosen Yankee Rose as his entrance music. Keiji Hashimoto has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

A nice leg kick lands there from Troyer.
Troyer blocks a jab.
Angus Troyer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Troyer feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hashimoto's calf.

Hashimoto swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Troyer counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hashimoto's knee momentarily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hashimoto is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Troyer got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hashimoto has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Troyer has managed to get both his arms back between Hashimoto's legs - danger averted.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Hashimoto is really struggling to control Troyer but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Hashimoto is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Hashimoto throws some wild stikes that Troyer manages to avoid easily.
Hashimoto throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Hashimoto lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
The referee warns Troyer that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Hashimoto can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Troyer is looking to escape.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hashimoto thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Poor strikes thrown by Hashimoto there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
