Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anello misses with a looping left.
ORielly uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Anello.
ORielly ducks under a wild hook from Anello.
Excellent takedown into side control there by ORielly.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
You can see the frustration on Anello's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Anello is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on ORielly's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
ORielly thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Anello's head.

and Anello counters with a nice uppercut.

ORielly looks for the body kick but Anello saw that one coming.
ORielly tries for a takedown but Anello sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

ORielly takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
A looping hook to the body misses from ORielly. Anello does a little dance to reset his feet.
ORielly lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
ORielly defending well as Anello loads up on a big left hand.
ORielly throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Anello.
Anello lands a nice looking body kick.
ORielly connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Anello momentarily.
ORielly misses with a body shot.
ORielly lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
ORielly jabs Anello to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Calogero Anello is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
ORielly will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Anello, right into the meat.

Anello misses with a lunging right hand
and ORielly connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Anello avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Anello keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Anello takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
ORielly throws a big shot that misses.
ORielly throws a nice inside leg kick.
Anello walks forward, straight into a front kick from ORielly.
ORielly fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Anello has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
ORielly feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Anello's calf.
Anello walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. ORielly checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

ORielly lands a really nice looking cross but Anello seems unphased.
Anello has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from ORielly finds it's way round the side to connect with Anello's head.
Anello thumps ORielly with a low kick.
A good leg kick by Anello.
ORielly feints and as Anello raises his hands in defense, ORielly changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

ORielly wants to control from the top but Anello keeps moving.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
