Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cus Jr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harold Hayworth! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jr throws a nice inside leg kick. Jr keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Jr looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hayworth falls off balance throwing a combination
and Jr counters with a leg kick. Hayworth avoids a kick to the body.
Hayworth throws a series of strikes that have Jr backpedaling.
Jr lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Jr fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hayworth. Hayworth waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jr. Jr lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Harold Hayworth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jr lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jr misses with a head kick.
Jr lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hayworth's sensitive parts. Jr looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Hayworth throws a right hand that Jr ducks under and follows up with a left that Jr also avoids with ease. Jr throws a nice outside leg kick. Hayworth looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jr lands a nice leg kick that just misses Hayworth's sensitive parts. Hayworth sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Jr scores with a leg kick.
Jr throws a quick inside leg kick. A slapping leg kick lands for Jr.
Jr lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hayworth at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A nice leg kick lands there from Jr. Jr feints and then cracks Hayworth's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hayworth down. Jr lands a high kick!
Jr fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hayworth has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Hayworth tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Hayworth takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jr fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hayworth. Jr dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hayworth. That did some damage!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hayworth needs to keep his hands up - Jr had a free shot at his head there.
Hayworth is rocked! Jr throws a powerful right kick. Hayworth tried to block low but the kick was high! Hayworth was taken right off of his feet! Jr jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
