Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladan Perunovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Castiel Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angel has chosen Carry on my wayward son as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Castiel Angel has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Vladan Perunovic's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vladan Perunovic! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Castiel Angel! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Angel shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Angel showed some decent athleticism there. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Perunovic keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Perunovic keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Angel not landing any meaningful shots this time. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Angel lands a nice short elbow. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Angel thows a huge punch but Perunovic dodges it nicely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Perunovic blocking the ground and pound attempt from Angel. Angel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Perunovic is trying to stand back up but Angel is controlling him
Angel thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Perunovic's head. Angel working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Perunovic knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Angel on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perunovic wants to get back to full guard. Angel working Perunovic over with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Angel missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Angel is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Angel lands strikes from half guard. Angel lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ground and pound from Angel.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Angel working over Perunovic with some ground and pound. Perunovic looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Angel thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Perunovic's head. Angel is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Angel stalling. Angel lands with a punch from half guard. Angel sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Perunovic defending well though. Angel throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Perunovic is staying active underneath Angel, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Angel is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Angel thows a huge punch but Perunovic dodges it nicely.
Angel throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Angel thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Angel not landing any meaningful shots this time. Angel seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Angel is nestled in close to Perunovic, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Perunovic is rocked! Perunovic is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Angel content to control rather than advance. Angel landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Oh Perunovic is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Angel is controlling the pace.
Perunovic seems to have got his legs back now. Angel wants to work for an arm triangle but Perunovic is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Perunovic keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Angel trying to mount his opponent but Perunovic defends it. Ground and pound from Angel. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Angel looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Angel throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Castiel Angel dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Angel sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Perunovic's defenses. It connects perfectly with Perunovic's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Castiel Angel! Castiel Angel retains his super heavyweight title! A relieved looking Castiel Angel thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
