Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyrese Banks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Raiders March. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyrese Banks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Henry Jones! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Banks cracks Jones with a right hand to the side of the head. Banks lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Banks works over Jones's head and body with a nice combination. This has been an exciting period of action! Banks uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones. Banks looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Banks wants to pass the guard but Jones is keeping the position. Banks drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Banks jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Banks is proving a slippery customer.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Banks drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Banks off! Banks jumps back into Jones's guard. Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Banks tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. Banks drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Banks off! Banks jumps back into Jones's guard. Banks looking to pass the guard. Banks drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Banks off! Banks jumps back into Jones's guard. Banks drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jones looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jones looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jones!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Banks manages to work his way to half guard, despite Jones's best efforts. Jones is trying to control. Banks wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Banks looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Banks moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Banks has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Jones doesn't defend quickly enough and Banks has managed to lock this one up! Can Jones escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Banks on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Tyrese Banks! Tyrese Banks tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
