Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Knife (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, 99 Problems. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cyrus Quinn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jim Knife! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A chopping leg kick lands by Quinn. A punch combination from Quinn misses. Quinn gets in close and instigates a clinch. Knife tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Quinn manages to pull guard.
Quinn utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Knife stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quinn swivels though and keeps the full guard. Knife won't allow Quinn to get back to his feet. Knife drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Knife jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Knife has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Knife trying to control but Quinn is working from the bottom. Knife with a flurry of punches that miss. Knife trying to control but Quinn is working from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Quinn changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Knife looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Quinn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Quinn working away. Knife manages to work his way to half guard, despite Quinn's best efforts. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Knife tries to get to full guard but Quinn has control of the leg. Quinn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Knife on the ground. Quinn is looking to advance position but Knife won't allow it. Quinn wants to stand but Knife has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knife makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Knife. Knife trying to keep a closed guard but Quinn is proving a slippery customer.
Knife looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Quinn clinches. Quinn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Knife moves in looking to clinch but Quinn pushes him off. Horrible takedown by Knife or perhaps it was just good defense by Quinn which made him look bad.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knife with a lazy takedown attempt and Quinn counters with a three punch combo that has Knife backing up. Knife nods at Quinn to acknowledge the strikes. Cyrus Quinn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Knife. Knife shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Quinn counters with a shoot takedown. Knife fights it but they end up in guard. Knife wants to sweep but no luck. Knife looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Quinn puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Quinn seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Quinn is breathing heavily. Knife is pressing down on Quinn's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Knife controls Quinn momentarily but Quinn frees himself. Knife has his foot on Quinn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Quinn works his way back into a safe position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knife is trying to keep Quinn in close.
Knife is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Quinn breaks from the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Quinn scores with a head kick.
Quinn finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Quinn tries for a takedown but Knife circles away easily and Knife counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Quinn! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Knife cracks Quinn with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Cyrus Quinn dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Knife scores a takedown into full mount! Knife goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Quinn turns into him and now he's in Knife's guard.
Quinn is fighting to break Knife's control of his arms but Knife is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Quinn has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Knife is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Knife looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn wants to control from the top but Knife keeps moving. Knife manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Quinn manages to get himself to full guard.
Quinn scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Knife looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Knife tries to clinch there but Quinn circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quinn clinches up against the cage. Knife avoids the elbow strike from Quinn, against the cage.
Knife tries for a takedown but Quinn manages to get underhooks.
Knife is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Quinn is keeping busy. Quinn gets underhooks to prevent Knife's takedown attempt.
Cyrus Quinn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Knife. Knife drops down looking for an ankle pick but Quinn pulls his leg out and moves away.
Quinn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Knife takes a kick to the side of the head. Quinn misses with a takedown and Knife decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Quinn's guard. Knife trying to control the position from guard on top but Quinn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knife stands and throws Quinn's legs to the side, diving into side control. Knife thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Knife has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Quinn! Knife putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Knife can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Quinn is looking to escape. Knife content just to control the position here. Knife's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Knife fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jim Knife showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Knife gets the takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Quinn's face as Knife controls the position. Quinn is looking for a sweep. Quinn is not content to let Knife control the position. Quinn takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Knife works to advance to full mount. Quinn defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Quinn tries to lock up and control but Knife gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Knife working for a submission but Quinn is keeping him at bay. Quinn tries to hold on but Knife postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knife is in the full mount, landing strikes. Knife is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Quinn is surviving well by controlling Knife's body position as best he can. Quinn is bucking up trying to escape but Knife cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Knife tries to control but Quinn wriggling away. Knife connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Knife throwing strikes here but Quinn is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Knife working for a guillotine from mount but Quinn is in no mood to give up. Knife has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Quinn is forced to tap!
