Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Elias The Upprunker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Ramrode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Elias The Upprunker has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Elias The Upprunker seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramrode moves into the clinch successfully.
Ramrode drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ramrode has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. The Upprunker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Ramrode is trying to drag The Upprunker to the mat but The Upprunker just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Elias The Upprunker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Ramrode.
Ramrode is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ramrode has dropped down and is working for a takedown. The Upprunker is trying to keep an underhook but Ramrode manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The Upprunker wants to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The Upprunker feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ramrodes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The Upprunker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ramrode stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The Upprunker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The Upprunker connects with a couple of short punches.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ramrode can do anything to dispel that myth.

The Upprunker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ramrode with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The Upprunker's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Ramrode tries to move into range but The Upprunker moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and The Upprunker counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Ramrode! He's just covering up as The Upprunker starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
