Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dragoslav Stoyanovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Tokill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stoyanovich comes into the arena with Hymn To Red October blaring out of the sound system. The key to victory for Dragoslav Stoyanovich has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ivan Tokill! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stoyanovich lands a nice looking body shot.

and Tokill counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Tokill moves into range and clinches up with Stoyanovich. Tokill is trying to drag Stoyanovich to the mat but Stoyanovich just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Tokill connects with a knee to the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tokill jumps guard but Stoyanovich turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Dragoslav Stoyanovich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Tokill. Tokill has Stoyanovich pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stoyanovich manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Tokill changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stoyanovich fights it off and pushes away nicely.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stoyanovich. Stoyanovich will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tokill up against the cage. Tokill blocks the elbow strike.
Tokill tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stoyanovich just stands there and leans against the cage. Tokill blocks an elbow strike. Tokill drops down looking for an ankle pick but Stoyanovich pulls his leg out and moves away.

and Tokill counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stoyanovich is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Stoyanovich seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tokill does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stoyanovich looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tokill with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Stoyanovich is keen to just control but Tokill is a slippery customer. Tokill is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Stoyanovich working over Tokill with some ground and pound. Tokill looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tokill has a hand on Stoyanovich's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Stoyanovich takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Tokill wants to control but Stoyanovich is having none of it. Stoyanovich lands a big shot there that rocks Tokill but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Tokill is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Stoyanovich looking to control but Tokill is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Tokill is looking to get to half guard. Stoyanovich putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tokill is in a horrible position here. Stoyanovich smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Tokill is rocked! Stoyanovich postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Tokill bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Stoyanovich and the fight is over!
