Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kalervi Outolempi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Holy Diver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diver is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Holy Diver by Dio. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Outolempi leaves Diver with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Outolempi misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Outolempi moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Holy Diver has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Diver.
Sloppy strikes from Outolempi. Those never looked like landing.
Nice sprawl there from Outolempi as Diver shoots in.
Kalervi Outolempi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Holy Diver.

Outolempi gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Diver to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Diver postures up in Outolempi's guard and throws a big left but Outolempi blocks it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Diver wants to get up but he can't break Outolempi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Outolempi wants to sweep but no luck.

Outolempi wants to stand and escape but Diver is having none of it.
Outolempi avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Outolempi will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Diver pushes down on Outolempi's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Diver seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Outolempi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Outolempi is trying is best to control the position here.
It looks like Diver is going to stand back up.

Kalervi Outolempi has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Diver gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Diver.
Outolempi lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Diver tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Outolempi counters with a nice right hand that sends Diver toppling to the canvas! Diver scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Outolempi finish him?!

Diver is rocked!

Diver shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Diver is still on wobbly legs! Can Outolempi finish him?
Diver tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Outolempi swivels and escapes.
Diver seems to have recovered his senses.
Outolempi misses with a two punch combination.
Outolempi connects with a looping right hand.

That has opened up Holy Diver's cut even more.
Nice takedown defense from Outolempi. No joy for Diver on that attempt.
Diver changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Outolempi tries to avoid it but Diver manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Outolempi to the ground. Outolempi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Diver looks winded!
Outolempi connects with a jab.
Holy Diver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diver shoots in for a takedown but Outolempi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Outolempi lands a right hook to the body.

Outolempi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Diver sprawling to the canvas! Diver rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Outolempi finish him?!

Outolempi drops Diver with a big left hand! Diver is injured, injured bad! Outolempi jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Kalervi Outolempi decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
