Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Vaughn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Purple Aki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vaughn comes to the cage accompanied by The Godfather . Aki has chosen Slim Whitman - Indian Love Call as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Aki counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Aki.
Aki lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Aki misses with an elbow over the top.
A frustrated look appears on Vaughn's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Vaughn tries to circle away but Aki has him pinned against the cage.
Vaughn tries to stall but Aki uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

It looks like James Vaughn has been cut.
Aki lands a right hand that snaps the head of Vaughn backwards.

Aki throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Vaughn blocks it with crossed arms.

Vaughn wants to break free but Aki has control.
Vaughn is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Aki tries to land a knee to the head but Vaughn blocks with his arms.

The referee is keeping an eye on Aki - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Vaughn is trying to force a seperation but Aki has the dominant position.

Vaughn wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Aki has him pressed against the cage.
Aki stalls.
Aki lands a body shot in the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Aki lands with a left to the head.

Vaughn is breathing heavily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Aki lands with a right to the head.
Aki is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Vaughn is defending well for now.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Purple Aki dominated that round.
The cut man is working on James Vaughn's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Aki lands a body shot.
Vaughn throws a lazy body kick
and Aki makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Vaughn really felt that one!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Aki.
Vaughn walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Purple Aki is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Aki lands a big right hand that sends Vaughn crashing to the mat! Aki stays standing though and waves Vaughn back to his feet!

Aki cracks Vaughn with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Vaughn looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Aki finish him?

Vaughn is rocked!
Aki connects with a leg kick. Vaughn looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Oh Vaughn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
James Vaughn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aki fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Vaughn.
Vaughn seems to have got his legs back now.
Aki throws a leg kick which misses Vaughn's front leg but catches the back leg as Vaughn tries to avoid it.
Vaughn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Aki lands a left and a right that send Vaughn crashing to the mat, dazed. Aki thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Vaughn is rocked!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Aki lands a brutal uppercut that launches Vaughn off his feet! Vaughn tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Purple Aki!
