Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Warton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Warton comes to the cage accompanied by Enae volare mezzo. Dick Shadow is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadow's jab looks to have found its range, popping Warton under the eye.
Shadow stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Warton.
Warton on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

and Warton counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Warton slips nicely into half guard.
Shadow is trying to stand up here but Warton is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shadow is looking to get back to is feet but Warton passes into side control.
Sloppy strikes there by Warton.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shadow can do anything to dispel that myth.

You can see the frustration on Shadow's face as Warton controls the position.
Warton has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Warton decides to stand back up. Warton steps back and let's Shadow get back to his feet.
Warton tries to score a power double leg takedown but Shadow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Warton somewhat.
Shadow lands a slapping body shot.
Warton throws a nice looking combination but Shadow bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Shadow lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Warton lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Warton lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

No joy there for Shadow, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
No luck for Warton with that takedown attempt.

Shadow rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Warton moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Warton lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Shadow can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Warton and Shadow drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Warton.
