Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Braz Serra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Vinicius!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serra tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Vinicius dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Serra clinches.
Vinicius tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Serra's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Vinicius scores with the left hand. Serra knows he should have avoided that one.
Serra closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Vinicius quickly recovers to half guard.
Serra slips a nice elbow through Vinicius's hands, connecting with Vinicius's forehead.
Vinicius wants to get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Serra looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Serra looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Vinicius is trying to stand.

Vinicius pushes Serra off looking to stand but Serra dives back in and keeps control.
Serra throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Vinicius tries to kick Serra off but Serra keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Serra winds up and cracks Vinicius with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Vinicius is trying to stand up here but Serra is controlling him well.
Vinicius is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Serra throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Vinicius is looking to escape.

Serra trying to control from half guard but Vinicius is working away.

Serra landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Serra drops an elbow to the side of Vinicius's head.
Serra is trying to control. Vinicius wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vinicius tries to kick Serra off in order to stand up. Serra Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Serra is chipping away with strikes.

Vinicius is still in real trouble! Can Serra finish him?

Vinicius is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Serra looks up at the clock and then as Vinicius takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Serra smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Vinicius tries to escape but Serra is in control.
Serra working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Serra scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Vinicius is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Serra can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Braz Serra!
