Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Madsen!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madsen throws a right and a left that both miss.
Reem shoots in for a takedown but Madsen shows good takedown defense.
Madsen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Madsen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Reem moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Madsen cracks Reem with a right hand to the side of the head.
Madsen takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Madsen misses with a leg kick.
Reem gets a clinch.
Madsen is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Madsen is trying to pull guard but Reem turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Madsen gets control of Reem's arms and successfully pulls guard. Madsen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Reem postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Madsen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Reem, into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Madsen wants to control from the top but Reem keeps moving.
Madsen is sitting in close to Reem's body. Reem has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Madsen is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Madsen is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Reem.

Henkka Reem decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
