Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mahandry Andriamboavonjy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Kiptanui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kiptanui has chosen Teflon Brothers - Hoodilammas feat. Juju as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiptanui throws a head kick but Andriamboavonjy moves out of range.
Andriamboavonjy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Andriamboavonjy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kiptanui as he avoids it easily.

Andriamboavonjy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kiptanui connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Kiptanui changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Andriamboavonjy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Kiptanui seems to be looking for submissions.
Andriamboavonjy is refusing to be controlled, as Kiptanui sits in half guard.

Andriamboavonjy wants to improve his position but Kiptanui is controlling well.
Andriamboavonjy moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Andriamboavonjy keeping moving, preventing Kiptanui from controlling successfully.

Andriamboavonjy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kiptanui drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Kiptanui as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Andriamboavonjy screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Kiptanui! Nice submission victory there!

A less than humble Gabriel Kiptanui misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
