Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between darn fredrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, darn fredrick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Coleman! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! fredrick fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Coleman stuffs the takedown attempt from fredrick. fredrick gets slowly back to his feet. Coleman shoots in and bounces fredrick off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. fredrick has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coleman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. fredrick escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coleman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Coleman content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Coleman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Coleman landing with the ground and pound. Coleman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. fredrick is keeping the position for now. Coleman is looking to work some ground and pound but fredrick has wrist control. Coleman lands a couple of digs. fredrick has momentary wrist control but Coleman slips an elbow through the middle. fredrick is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Coleman distracts fredrick with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman lands a couple of decent looking shots. Coleman with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Coleman lands a couple of elbows. Coleman passes fredrick's left leg - he's now in half guard. Coleman not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Coleman tries to pass the half guard into mount. fredrick knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Coleman looks gassed! Coleman looks to score some points with some ground and pound. fredrick is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Coleman's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Coleman's back! fredrick has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Coleman has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
fredrick is persistently looking for the submission but Coleman is defending it well.
Coleman wants to escape the position.
fredrick is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Coleman taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from fredrick.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). darn fredrick!
