Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel MacKinnon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams fails to land the takedown. Williams shoots in and bounces MacKinnon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. MacKinnon looking for a guillotine here but Williams defends easily.
MacKinnon throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Williams tries to free his leg and advance position but MacKinnon is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on MacKinnon, up you get! A punch lands to the side of MacKinnon 's head but he takes it in his stride. Williams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Williams throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around MacKinnon's waist but MacKinnon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Williams off to one side. MacKinnon scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Williams is trying to stand back up but MacKinnon is controlling him
MacKinnon scores with a couple of good hammerfists. MacKinnon trying to control the action but Williams is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams tries to get to full guard but MacKinnon has control of the leg. Williams is trying to defend against the ground and pound but MacKinnon scores with a couple of nice shots. Williams is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. MacKinnon working the head and body with strikes. MacKinnon is thwarting Williams's attempts to control the position. Williams is looking to improve his position.
MacKinnon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Williams is breathing heavily. Williams wants to get back to his feet. Williams actively working from the bottom here. MacKinnon looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Williams is trying to stand up here but MacKinnon is controlling him well. MacKinnon is taking a breather. Williams says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Williams is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Williams is trying to control but MacKinnon passes into side control!
MacKinnon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Williams is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Williams prevents MacKinnon from moving into mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams wants to control but MacKinnon postures up. Williams tries to buck MacKinnon off but MacKinnon is having none of it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Williams gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and MacKinnon counters with a nice double leg into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Williams. That's going to take a lot out of him. MacKinnon is looking for a kimura here.
MacKinnon is nestled in close to Williams, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Williams wants to get back to his feet. MacKinnon passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Williams! MacKinnon has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Williams's face.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams is looking to get to half guard. MacKinnon unloading with bombs! Williams is trying desperately to improve position. MacKinnon raining down shots from the mount! Williams tries to lock up and control but MacKinnon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Williams is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
MacKinnon scoring with strikes but Williams is staying in there. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. MacKinnon connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Williams keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
MacKinnon working for a guillotine from mount but Williams is in no mood to give up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel MacKinnon dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
MacKinnon takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Williams throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Williams doesn't succeed with the takedown and MacKinnon decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Williams's guard. Williams throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Williams is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Williams trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! MacKinnon makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. MacKinnon wants to pass the guard but Williams is keeping the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. MacKinnon throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Williams is looking to stand back up but MacKinnon counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Williams. MacKinnon has hold of Williams's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Williams tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - MacKinnon cranks the arm and Williams screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Williams, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Daniel MacKinnon!
