The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort shoots for a double leg takedown but Depot sprawls well. He's pushed Belfort's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sloppy strikes from Depot. Those never looked like landing.
Belfort shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Depot as he avoids it easily.
Depot throws a body punch but Belfort moves out of range.
Depot rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Belfort moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Belfort is looking to clinch but Depot is avoiding it.
Belfort shoots in looking for a takedown. Depot tries to sprawl out of it but Belfort keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Depot manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Belfort. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Depot lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Belfort circles away quickly and effectively.

Depot leaves Belfort with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Depot sends Belfort crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Depot is motioning to the referee to let Belfort up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Depot cracks Belfort with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
