12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Serrano! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Serrano avoids the body shot from Fernandez.
Fernandez throws a low kick but Serrano avoids it. Serrano tries to clinch but Fernandez moves out of range. Serrano tries to clinch there but Fernandez circles away.
Fernandez misses with a few strikes there.
Serrano closes the distance looking to clinch and Fernandez counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Serrano tries to clinch but Fernandez moves out of range. The fight stays on the outside here - Serrano looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Fernandez misses the shot to the body. Serrano tries a head kick but it misses.
Serrano is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Fernandez. Fernandez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Serrano is rocked! Fernandez throws a quick inside leg kick. Serrano is still on wobbly legs! Can Fernandez finish him? Fernandez connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Serrano to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Fernandez!

Jason Fernandez decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world.
