Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jah Herbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesh Masilungan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jah Herbs has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jah Herbs seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masilungan throws a right hand that Herbs ducks under and follows up with a left that Herbs also avoids with ease.
Masilungan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Both fighters circling a little - Herbs finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Herbs wants to clinch up but Masilungan keeps it at a distance.
Herbs blocks a low kick nicely.

Masilungan thows a huge punch but Herbs dodges it nicely.
Herbs makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Masilungan stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Herbs.

Masilungan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Herbs is fending him off so far but Masilungan persists. Nope, Herbs circles away and we're back to standing.
Jah Herbs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesh Masilungan.

Jesh Masilungan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Herbs looks to clinch
and Masilungan counters with a one-two to the body.
Herbs throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Herbs decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Masilungan has a hand on Herbs's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Herbs takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Herbs has hold of Masilungan's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Masilungan manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Masilungan is looking to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Herbs will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Masilungan is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Herbs is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Herbs flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Masilungan anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Herbs and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Masilungan slips an arm under Herbs chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Masilungan has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Masilungan is squeezing on Herbs like an anaconda would it's prey. Herbs fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
