Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Douglas Sousa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sousa comes to the cage accompanied by papa roach. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sousa tries to clinch up.
Ward connects with a nice looking jab.
Ward scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Ward perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Ward is looking to take a break and control but Sousa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
