Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Cartside (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hank Langston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Langston has chosen Inside the Fire by Disturbed as his entrance music. Hank Langston will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rick Cartside!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hank Langston!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Cartside.
Langston keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rick Cartside seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cartside has a takedown stuffed.
Cartside gets the takedown into side control.
Cartside is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Langston is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Cartside tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Cartside tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cartside has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Langston tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Langston throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Langston thuds a left hand into Cartside's body.
Langston throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Cartside stumbling backwards into the cage! Cartside bounces back off the cage towards Langston, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Langston lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Langston celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Hank Langston!
