I think Mustayne might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Holy Wars.. The Punishment Due. Mironov has chosen Down by Law - by Madball as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mironov shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Mustayne is trying to defend but Mironov finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Mironov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mustayne does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Mustayne has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mironov is working away from the top position though.
Mironov works his way into full mount!
Mustayne tries to lock up and control but Mironov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Mustayne slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Mironov wants to control but Mustayne is keeping him busy.

Mironov is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Mironov passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Mustayne!
