Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robert House!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James shoots for a double leg takedown but House sprawls well. He's pushed James's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
House misses with a combination

and James counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by James.

James stands and steps away. House gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
House tries to bum rush James with a series of wild strikes but James uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
House throws a right and a left that both miss.
James looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
House misses with a jab, cross combination.
No joy there for House, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
James showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from House.
House rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

James shoots for a takedown but House saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

James closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. House quickly recovers to half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

James is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. House doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time James.

House is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
James is really struggling to control House but he's trying to hold on to the position.

James escapes and gets back to his feet.
House fails to land with a series of punches.
Lebron James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
House throws a nice looking combination but James bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

James rushes House and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
James slowing the pace effectively.
James landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
James is trying to drag House to the mat but House just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lebron James dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


James shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says House as he avoids it easily.
House will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
House lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

House cracks James with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lebron James is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and James counters with a big head kick but House shrugs it off.
House is breathing heavily.
James fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

House jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

James shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as House sprawls well. House wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. James gets slowly back to his feet.
House throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
House displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from James.
James will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Donk. House catches James right on the button with a cross.
Robert House seems to be getting the better of the standup.
House throws a series of punches but James avoids them all with ease.
James doesn't manage to clinch there - House circles away.
Horrible takedown by James or perhaps it was just good defense by House which made him look bad.

James shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
James would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
James won't allow House to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Robert House will probably get the nod - 10:9.

House looks to land a combination but James avoids it well.
House connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
James avoids a punch combination nicely.
James misses with a jab, cross combination.
House circles away from the clinch attempt.

James fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with House, pushing him back against the cage.
House looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

James breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
House takes a kick to the side of the head.

House drops James with a beautiful combination! James stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - House is looking for the KO!

and House counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Oh James is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
House takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
House throws a right hand that James ducks under and follows up with a left that James also avoids with ease.

House tries to sprawl but James drives through with a takedown into half guard.
James passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for House!
James trying to control but House is having none of it.
James seems to have got his legs back now.
James postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. House looks a forlorn figure.

James wants to finish this one by submission but House is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from James.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if House can do anything to dispel that myth.

James get's back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
James shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts House as he jumps to the side.

House misses with a series of wild punches.
James fails with an attempt to clinch.
James closes this distance looking for a takedown but House circles away.
James lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
House throws a combination that misses
and James counters with a slapping leg kick.
House scores with a three punch combo!
James tries to score a power double leg takedown but House sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten James somewhat.

I would just about give that final round to Robert House.
