Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Belin Billet!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Billet throws a one two combo.
Brown shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Brown trying to pass the guard but Billet defending well.
Brown missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brown is pressing down on Billet's thigh, looking to free his foot. Billet is holding on for now.
Billet is trying to get back to full guard.
Billet is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Brown's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Brown's back!
Brown tries to escape but Billet has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Billet has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Brown has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Brown breaks Billet's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Brown postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Billet looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Brown stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Billet swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown is looking to work some ground and pound but Billet has wrist control.
Billet working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brown doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Brown manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Billet has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brown can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Billet looking for a triangle here. Brown is fighting it but it looks tight! Billet pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Brown is tapping out - this one is all over!
