Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Raul Pendragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damon Who (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Who has chosen Party Hard by Andrew WK as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Who fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pendragon tries to close the distance and clinch but Who swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pendragon uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Who has time to react.

Pendragon gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Pendragon lands with a right to the head.
Pendragon gets underhooks to prevent Who's takedown attempt.

Pendragon lands a body punch.
Who tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Raul Pendragon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damon Who.

It looks like Damon Who has been cut.
Who is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pendragon pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Pendragon manages to break the clinch.

Who fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Pendragon sprawls well initially but Who persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pendragon tries to roll over but Who keeps him under control.
Pendragon looks like he's trying to stand up.

Who is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Who is thwarting Pendragon's attempts to control the position.
Pendragon is looking for a sweep. Who is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Pendragon is refusing to be controlled, as Who sits in half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Who changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pendragon tries to avoid it but Who manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pendragon to the ground. Pendragon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Who displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pendragon throws out the jab.
Raul Pendragon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
