Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Big Show (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brucey Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Big Show has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Big Show! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brucey Phillips! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Phillips. Show tries to bench press Phillips off him but Phillips keeps the position. Phillips has control of an arm but Show manages to advance to Phillips's back! Show is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Phillips knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Phillips for a finish. Phillips is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Phillips tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
That's one minute gone in the round. Show trying to control but Phillips is having none of it. Phillips is wriggling around trying to escape.
Poor strikes thrown by Show there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Show throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Show wants to get back to his feet but Phillips is holding on tight.
Phillips is squirming around, avoiding Show's attempts to control the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Show looking to ground and pound but Phillips is blocking nicely. Phillips is in all sorts of trouble here.
Show trying to control but Phillips is having none of it. Phillips avoids a series of strikes thrown by Show.
Phillips regains half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Show is trying to control the action in half guard but Phillips is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Big Show. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Show. Show throws a push kick but Phillips slaps the foot to one side. Show stuffs the takedown. Phillips pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Show back to the cage. Phillips follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Phillips shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Show manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Show wants to hit a switch here but Phillips passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Show there! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Brucey Phillips will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Show shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Phillips defends it nicely. Big Show is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Phillips avoids the head kick by Show.
Show drives through with a takedown into guard. Phillips looking to hit a scissor sweep but Show is one step ahead there. Show looking to sit in guard and control but Phillips gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Phillips postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Phillips is standing up over Show. Show looks to escape but Phillips dives into side control.
Show can't do much from the bottom here. Phillips working the head and body with strikes. Phillips thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Phillips creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Phillips in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Brucey Phillips has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Show tries to get back to half guard but can't. Phillips is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Show is trying to escape and Phillips transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Show is forced to tap! Nice work there by Phillips! Very nice indeed!
