Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph McKingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Petey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steve Petey will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ralph McKingston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Petey! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Colin Fotheringham and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McKingston looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Petey moves out of range of the body kick. McKingston shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Petey's guard. McKingston looking to pass the guard. Petey working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from McKingston. McKingston decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. McKingston darts in and clinches Petey up against the cage. Petey stalling the fight.
Petey struggles to land a body shot inside as McKingston controls his hands.
Petey tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and McKingston avoids it. Petey breaks from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Petey throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Petey looks winded! McKingston closes this distance looking for a takedown but Petey circles away. McKingston tries for a takedown but Petey sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ralph McKingston. That's going to take a lot out of him. McKingston closes the distance and clinches. McKingston displaying some good clinch control by pressing Petey up against the cage. McKingston lands a takedown into guard.
Petey really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McKingston. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McKingston lands a couple of elbows. McKingston trying to control the position from guard on top but Petey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McKingston passes into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McKingston is pressing down on Petey's thigh, looking to free his foot. Petey is holding on for now. Petey flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Petey is trying to control but McKingston manages to pass to mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McKingston sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. McKingston is in the full mount, landing strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Petey taking shots to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Petey can't escape the position.
McKingston has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. McKingston wants to control the pace but Petey is squirming around nicely. McKingston controlling the position easily from mount. Petey taking shots to the head. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. McKingston tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McKingston connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
McKingston controlling from mount. McKingston wants to control the pace but Petey is squirming around nicely. McKingston has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Petey's face.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Petey tries to improve his position but instead McKingston has taken his back! McKingston will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McKingston has his arm under Petey's chin here. Game over son! McKingston squeezes tightly and Petey is forced to tap out!
