Palumbo has chosen A Day To Remember- Violence as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daryl Palumbo!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palumbo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Palumbo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Quitoriano.
Quitoriano uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Palumbo.
Palumbo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Quitoriano circles away quickly and effectively.
Quitoriano throws a wild body kick that Palumbo sees coming a mile off.

Quitoriano shoots in and bounces Palumbo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Palumbo wants to get back to his feet but Quitoriano is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Quitoriano stands and throws Palumbo's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Quitoriano stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Quitoriano takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Palumbo's jab looks to have found its range, popping Quitoriano under the eye.


It looks like Vincent Quitoriano has been cut.
Palumbo misses with a series of wild punches.
Daryl Palumbo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Palumbo throws a series of punches but Quitoriano avoids them all with ease.
Palumbo jabs at Quitoriano's body.
Quitoriano showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Palumbo.

Palumbo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Palumbo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Palumbo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Palumbo misses the body punch

and Quitoriano counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Palumbo's guard now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Quitoriano is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Quitoriano stands up from Palumbo's guard - Quitoriano perhaps looking for a knockout.

Quitoriano feints and as Palumbo raises his hands in defense, Quitoriano changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Quitoriano closes the distance looking to clinch
and Palumbo counters with a one-two to the body.

Quitoriano looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Quitoriano wants to clinch.
Palumbo circles away from the clinch attempt.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Vincent Quitoriano will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Palumbo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

A combination from Palumbo does no damage.
Quitoriano tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Palumbo counters with a three punch combo that has Quitoriano backing up. Quitoriano nods at Palumbo to acknowledge the strikes.
Sloppy strikes from Palumbo. Those never looked like landing.

Quitoriano dives in and scores a takedown into Palumbo's guard.

Palumbo is trying to stand and escape. In the scramble, Quitoriano has locked hold of an arm and he's managed to lock on an armbar - Palumbo taps out instantly and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Vincent Quitoriano!
