Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wells comes to the cage accompanied by Once Upon The Cross by Deicide. Johnson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mission Impossible 2 (Hate Mix) By Limp bizkit kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Wells! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kyle Johnson! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wells throws a lazy uppercut
and Johnson counters with a thumping low kick. Johnson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wells circles away. Wells misses with a leg kick and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown. Wells fights it but they end up in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Wells wants to improve his position but instead Johnson has moved into half guard.

Wells is working hard here to advance position. Wells is pressing down on Johnson's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johnson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Wells looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Wells bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Johnson's guard. Wells passes easily into side control. Nice work. Wells decides to stand back up. Wells ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Johnson drives through and clinches with Wells against the cage.
Wells tries to break free but Johnson pushes him back against the cage. Wells tries to pull guard but Johnson won't allow it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wells is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Wells breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wells throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Johnson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson scores with a hook. Chris Wells seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wells tests Johnson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Kyle Johnson has been cut. Wells fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Wells misses with a leg kick and Johnson counters with a shoot takedown. Wells fights it but they end up in guard. Wells looking for a sweep. Not yet Wells, not yet. Wells will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Wells wants to sweep here but Johnson controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A looping hook to the body misses from Johnson. Wells does a little dance to reset his feet. Wells throws a jab when Johnson was well out of range. Wells turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A punch lands to the side of Johnson 's head but he takes it in his stride. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wells drops Johnson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Johnson looks back up at him and smiles so Wells waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Johnson is rocked! Wells darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Johnson's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Wells before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chris Wells! Chris Wells made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'You should have never tried to stand and bang with me. Now go die in the gutter where you belong!'.
