Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Doghoon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos Doghoon told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, James Green! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carlos Doghoon! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doghoon swings away with a body shot that misses
and Green counters with a nice body shot. Green shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Doghoon as he avoids it easily. Doghoon misses with a hook. Green ducked under it nicely. Green tries to close the distance and clinch up but Doghoon swats him away and circles back towards the center. Green shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Green throwing shots but Doghoon is blocking nicely. Doghoon keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Green looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Green is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Doghoon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Green.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Green is working for a kimura but Doghoon is defending it quite comfortably.
Green thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Doghoon's head. Green has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Green is trying to work for a kimura but Doghoon is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Green cracks Doghoon with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Doghoon holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Green tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Green throws some wild stikes that Doghoon manages to avoid easily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Green dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Green doesn't succeed with the takedown and Green takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like James Green has been cut. Green lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
James Green is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Green scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Green is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Doghoon knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Doghoon is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Green off and has taken his back! Doghoon lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Doghoon's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

That's one minute gone in the round. Doghoon scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Green is looking for a way out. Doghoon lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Doghoon.
James Green's cut is getting worse. Green trying to control but not successfully. Doghoon connects with a couple of big shots that have Green covering up! Oh, this looks bad for Green! Doghoon fires away with several more unanswered shots and the referee has no choice but to step in! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carlos Doghoon! A relieved looking Carlos Doghoon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
