Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Matt Buckner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mink Furer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matt Buckner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mink Furer! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buckner throws a nice outside leg kick. Furer tries to clinch but Buckner is having none of it. Buckner throws a quick inside leg kick. Buckner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Buckner lands a nice shot to the body.
Buckner lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Matt Buckner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Buckner with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Furer with a poor takedown and Furer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Furer tries to keep at a distance but Buckner has taken the fight into the clinch. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Buckner. This has been an exciting period of action! Buckner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Furer has his takedown stuffed and Buckner counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Furer walks into a stiff left hand from Buckner. The fighters circle momentarily. Buckner darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Buckner lands a high kick!
Furer is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Furer misses with a takedown attempt and Buckner counters with a slapping leg kick. Matt Buckner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mink Furer. Furer looks winded! Buckner lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Furer at a distance.
Furer fails with the takedown and Buckner counters by moving into the clinch. Buckner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Furer gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Furer drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Buckner cracks the inside of Furer's front leg. Furer is trying desperately to land a takedown but Buckner is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Furer. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Thud! ouch! good body kick from Buckner - that will leave a mark!
Furer's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Buckner scores with a jab to the jaw. Furer is still on wobbly legs! Can Buckner finish him? Buckner cracks Furer with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Furer looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Buckner finish him?
Furer glances at the clock... BAM! Buckner nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Furer crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Furer is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Matt Buckner! Matt Buckner very nearly forgot to thank BLKOUT Clothing amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
