Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bic Cristal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeAndre Redd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bic Cristal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, DeAndre Redd! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Redd. No joy for Cristal on that attempt. Redd misses with the combination.

Cristal shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Redd's guard. Cristal is breathing heavily. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Cristal won't allow Redd to sweep him here. Cristal looking to pass the guard. Cristal trying to control the position from guard on top but Redd is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Redd is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Cristal is aware though and is defending well. Redd wants to sweep here but Cristal controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cristal not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Bic Cristal just wasn't active enough. Cristal has closed the distance and engaged Redd in a clinch.

Redd's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Redd closes the distance and clinches. Cristal tries to circle away but Redd has him pinned against the cage. Redd tries to score a body lock takedown but Cristal shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Redd breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cristal misses with a double jab.

Redd rushes Cristal and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Redd breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Redd tries to keep at a distance but Cristal has taken the fight into the clinch. Redd pulls guard effortlessly. This has been an exciting period of action! Cristal slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Cristal trying to control the position from guard on top but Redd is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Redd wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Redd really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cristal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bic Cristal wasn't doing enough on the ground. Redd tries to bum rush Cristal with a series of wild strikes but Cristal uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Cristal has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bic Cristal. That's going to take a lot out of him. Redd looking to score a takedown here. Cristal is defending well but Redd drives through and ends up in Cristal's guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Redd tries to stand but Cristal is controlling from the bottom. Cristal tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cristal avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Redd got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cristal has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Redd has managed to get both his arms back between Cristal's legs - danger averted. Redd gets to his feet - Cristal follows without any prompting. DeAndre Redd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cristal shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Redd sprawls well. Redd wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cristal gets slowly back to his feet. Redd closes the distance and pushes Cristal back into the cage. Redd pulls guard successfully.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cristal wants to control from the top but Redd keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cristal working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
DeAndre Redd dominated that round. That's time! Cristal's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Redd with a hook. Cristal shoots in for a takedown but Redd shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Cristal feints and as Redd raises his hands in defense, Cristal changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Redd looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cristal is one step ahead there. Cristal trying to control the position from guard on top but Redd is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Redd is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Bic Cristal just wasn't active enough. Cristal takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Oooooh!!! Redd has knocked Cristal down with a huge combo! Redd steps away and waves a wobbly Cristal back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Bic Cristal has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Redd cracks Cristal with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. DeAndre Redd seems to be getting the better of the standup. Redd tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cristal swivels and escapes. Redd clinches up with Cristal and pushes him back against the cage. Redd manages to break the clinch.
No joy there for Redd, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Bic Cristal is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Redd fails with the takedown and Cristal decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Redd's guard.

Bic Cristal overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Redd wants to sweep but no luck. Redd keeping moving, preventing Cristal from controlling successfully.

He's got his arms around Redd's waist but Redd gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cristal off to one side. Danga de danga de dang - Redd scores with a four punch combination! Redd shoots in for a double leg but Cristal sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bic Cristal has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DeAndre Redd. Redd throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Redd instigates a clinch. Cristal misses with a punch on the inside.

DeAndre Redd showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Bic Cristal's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Redd rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Cristal moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Cristal looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Cristal gets tackled into the cage by Redd. Redd maintains the clinch. Redd breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Redd shoots in for a takedown. Redd pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cristal closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Redd to the mat! Redd manages to get full guard. Cristal seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Cristal working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cristal's corner is telling him to maintain position.

We're going to have a standup here because Bic Cristal wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Sloppy strikes from Cristal. Those never looked like landing. A left and a right from Redd both land. Nice combination. Cristal shoots in and gets a takedown into Redd's guard. Redd keeping full guard, as Cristal tries to pass. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Cristal accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. DeAndre Redd is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cristal slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Cristal wants to control from the top but Redd keeps moving.

Cristal throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Redd was covering up waiting for the punch and Cristal finishes the takedown easily into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cristal gets to his feet. Redd looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
And that's the end of the fight! Bic Cristal showed his dominance in that final round. I think Redd has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
