Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierre St George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St George has chosen Beautiful People as his entrance music. Diego Nunes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - St George looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
St George wants to clinch but Nunes slips to the side
and Nunes counters with an outside leg kick.

Nunes lands a nice looking kick to the body. St George takes a step back to recover.

St George forces Nunes back against the cage and clinches.
St George keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Nunes's efforts to push away.
Nunes has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

St George drags the fight down to the ground.
St George wants to stand and escape but Nunes is having none of it.
Nunes slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Diego Nunes wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Nunes throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. St George tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nunes is in St George's guard.

Nunes gets to his feet. St George looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
