Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Twist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmonray Flauta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Oliver Twist!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dmonray Flauta!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flauta shoots for a double leg takedown but Twist sprawls well. He's pushed Flauta's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Flauta shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Twist as he avoids it easily.
Twist fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Flauta manages to avoid it.
Flauta doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Twist counters with a nice uppercut.
Oliver Twist has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dmonray Flauta.
No luck for Twist with that takedown attempt.
Twist shoots for a takedown but Flauta saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Twist ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Flauta moves away.

Flauta is fighting to break Twist's control of his arms but Twist is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Twist has hold of Flauta's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Flauta manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Oliver Twist will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Twist closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Flauta's guard.
Flauta is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Twist postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Flauta is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Twist, into his guard.
Flauta is working Twist over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Twist bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Flauta's guard.

Twist drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Flauta manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Twist has Flauta in his guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Flauta accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Twist stands and throws Flauta's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Twist is looking to take a break and control but Flauta is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Twist swings around for an armbar but Flauta sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Twist's guard.
Flauta connects with a couple of short punches.

Twist is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Flauta frees his head nicely. Oh but Twist has switched to an armbar! Flauta is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
