Chantry is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Shamrock is trying to drag Chantry to the mat but Chantry just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chantry's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Chantry drops Shamrock with a beautiful combination! Shamrock stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Chantry is looking for the KO!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Chantry! Shamrock is out on his feet! Chantry rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Shamrock is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Shamrock is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
